Lewis Brian Hopkin Jones, known as Brian Jones, was a multi-talented musician who in 1962 founded a British rhythm and blues band and named them The Rolling Stones. It was his vision, enthusiasm and sheer determination over those informative years that set the band on a path that they still tread today. His contribution to the British music scene is acknowledged by the pillars of 60's music including Ray Davies, Sir Paul McCartney, Pete Townshend, Graham Nash, Jimi Hendrix, Jim Morrison, Eric Burden and Bob Dylan. Sadly those who benefitted from his talent the most, and continue to do so, have not been keen to protect his legacy. We will leave other people and websites to argue that and instead, in our own small way, celebrate his life and music in a positive way. We hope you enjoy the site and would welcome any other material to further this cause.
